Three items: an ALS signed “Ray Bolger,” personal letterhead, April 26, 1931, in part: “Due to a strike in recording employees musicians etc in 1948–49 there was no album made of the ‘Where’s Charley’ score. However Decca did record some singles—‘Amy’ etc.”; a dinner invitation from Billie Burke on the back of a Thanksgiving card, no date, signed within the text, “Will Mr. & Mrs. Frink give Miss Billie Burke the pleasure of their company at dinner Thursday evening at five thirty at the Adolphus Hotel Dallas,” with Burke adding “P.T.O” to the front side; and a TLS from Mervyn LeRoy signed “Mervyn,” personal letterhead, January 14, 1944, in full: “Thanks so much for sending me your Hollywood Picks of 1943. I feel honored to be among your picks.” In overall fine condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
