Ziegfeld, Jr.,” one page, 5.25 x 2.75, no date, in full: “Poster are on sale at Box Office Manhattan Theatre New York”; and a TLS in pencil, signed “Flo,” one page, 7.25 x 10.5, personal letterhead, May 9, 1918. Letter to Charlie, in part: “Josephine Loraine I think has accepted an engagement with the Winter Garden, after I engaged her Forty Dollars a week; think they offered her Fifty—so she told Wayburn. Will you get in touch with her—I wish you would—as she is a very beautiful girl and I don’t want to lose her. Will you please get at the true facts. Do you remember she was the girl in your office when you called up.” Ziegfeld adds a brief pencil notation to the upper right and underlines two words of the text. In overall very good to fine condition, with creasing to bottom of the typed letter and an edge chip to note. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
