Remarkable collection of seven circa 1930s original sepia candid snapshots of the Barrow gang, 2.75 x 3.75, with subjects including: Bonnie and Clyde sitting on the ground in the woods, with Bonnie reclining into Clyde’s lap; Bonnie sitting on Clyde’s shoulder; Clyde Barrow, Bonnie Parker, and Joe Palmer standing in front of a car, with Clyde toasting with a bottle in his right hand; Clyde, Bonnie, and Henry Methvin in front of the same car; Clyde, Bonnie, and Methvin side-by-side in the woods; Henry Methvin, Bonnie Parker, and Joe Palmer together; and Clyde Barrow, Henry Methvin, and Raymond Hamilton together. All are stamped on the reverse, “Border Fox Tone Picture, Made by Fox Company, San Antonio, Texas.” Several photos are annotated in fountain pen in an unknown hand. In overall very good to fine condition, with noticeable scattered creasing and a few areas of surface loss. An absolutely stunning collection of rare original Bonnie and Clyde material.
