ALS, one page, 6.5 x 8, January 29, 1791. Letter to his son Dr. Levi Bartlett. In part: “I have enjoyed a pretty good state of health since I have been here…As to what you write about Major Morrill &c I have heard nothing about it here,and believe there is nothing in it. I am so much engaged I have not time to write much. Think the court will not rise till the latter end of the week after next if then. Think I shall not return till the court rises.” In fine condition, with a light block of toning from prior display and several small binding holes along the left edge. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
