Terracotta bust of U. S. Grant in his military uniform by Karl Gerhardt, measuring approximately 8″ tall, carved with the artist’s name on the back, “Copyright by K. Gerhardt, Sculptor, 1885,” and impressed by the maker, “Produced only by Goodwin Bros., Elmwood, Conn.” In very good to fine condition, with a few tiny chips and scattered soiling.
