Fabulous original semi-glossy 19.5 x 13 photo of John, Jackie, and Caroline on the beach in Hyannis Port taken by photographer Mark Shaw, affixed to a same-size mount bearing Shaw’s credit stamp on the reverse with copyright dates of 1961 and 1964. In fine condition. Shaw met the Kennedys while working as a photojournalist for Life magazine in 1959 and they began a close relationship, with Shaw becoming their de facto family photographer. As a personal friend, Shaw was able to capture intimate family moments in private, casual settings such as this.
