Large white cloth banner that was presumedly hung outside a Dallas store window to welcome President Kennedy to the city during the motorcade which ended with his assassination in Dealey Plaza, measuring 34 x 35, featuring blue text, “Welcome Mr. President.” Similar banners can be seen in other Kennedy motorcade video and still photographs. In very good condition, with general wear from use and scattered staining. The banner features metal grommets so it is assumed to have been produced for outdoor display, rendering it scarcer than an indoor example. An unusual, unique artifact from JFK’s ill-fated trip.
