Scarce document sent to Edward Choate from Hammett concerning the royalties terms for the “dramatization of my novel ‘The Glass Key.’” Neatly signed at the conclusion by Hammett. In fine condition. Considered one of Hammett’s best novels, The Glass Key was adapted to the silver screen twice—once in 1935 and again in 1942.
