Partly-printed DS as president, one page, 17.25 x 13.75, February 19, 1902. President Roosevelt appoints Alexander N. Thomas as “Postmaster at Aurora, in the County of Hamilton, State of Nebraska.” Signed at the conclusion by Roosevelt and countersigned by Postmaster General Henry Clay Payne. The gold seal and red ribbon affixed to the lower left remain intact. Handsomely double-matted and framed. In fine condition. Oversized. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
