Description

Carl Orff

German composer (1895–1982) best known for his oratorio ‘Carmina Burana.’ TLS, one page, 8.25 x 5.75, personal letterhead, September 18, 1978. Letter to Mr. Moody, in full: “Please stop sending me books to sign, expecially [sic] those of Stuckenschmidt that contains so many errors and misinterpretations of my work I can’t authorise by my autograph. I enclose some fotos which you may use for yourself.” In fine condition. Accompanied by a pair of unsigned booklets for the works of Orff. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
