Two items: a partly-printed Confederate clothing oath signed "H. M. Block," December 14, 1864, confirming receipt of "One Over Coat" and "One Pair Pants," and certifies that he is a citizen of Alabama and has not purchased any other clothing in the previous year, matted and framed with a descriptive plaque; and a collection of four die-struck, domed buttons with "Superior Quality" back markings and intact wire loops, cataloged as no. CS81B in Record of American Uniform and Historical Buttons by A. H. Albert. In overall very good to fine condition.
