Stainless steel Lunar Receiving Lab container, measuring 6″ tall and 4″ in diameter, engraved with serial number “252-213” on both the top handle and side of the canister. The bottom is marked, “Polar Stainless Steel, Made in U.S.A., 1J, 2-71.” In fine condition. Still sealed in original bag. This type of container was used at the Lunar Receiving Laboratory (LRL) to screen and separate various sizes of material collected from the lunar surface.
