Humorous ink and colored pencil sketch of NASA pad leader Guenter Wendt lying in a hospital bed, with a crazed doctor, a voluptuous nurse, and a skipping Snoopy character by his side, accomplished on an off-white 17 x 11 cardstock sheet, signed by an enormous assemblage of Wendt’s coworkers from North American Rockwell; as none of the inscriptions indicate that Wendt was indeed hospitalized, this sketch is presumably in reference to his retirement in 1989. Signed on the reverse in black ballpoint by Wendt and stamped as being from his personal collection. In fine condition. The Guenter Wendt Collection, ex. Ken Havekotte.
