Partly-printed DS as president, one page, 7.75 x 10, December 7, 1843. President Tyler directs the Secretary of State to affix the seal of the United States to “a full power, to Henry Wheaton, to treat with the King of Prussia, and the other German States associated.” Signed at the conclusion by President Tyler. In fine condition, with old mounting and adhesive remnants to two edges of reverse.
