Special Orders issued from the headquarters of the Army of the Potomac, including the approval of a leave of absence and an assignment for recruiting service. In overall fine condition. Williams served as assistant adjutant general of the Union’s Army of the Potomac throughout the Civil War. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
