Set of four books signed by various Apollo astronauts, including: a first edition of Carrying the Fire, softcover, signed on the title page in black ink, “Michael Collins”; a first edition of Men from Earth, hardcover with dust jacket, signed and inscribed on the first free end page in black ink, “To Paul Kozelka, with thanks & best wishes, Buzz Aldrin”; a later printing of Failure Is Not an Option, softcover, signed and inscribed on the half-title page in black ballpoint, “To Marvin, Aim High! Gene Kranz”; and a first edition of Reaching for the Moon, hardcover with dust jacket, signed on the title page in black ink, “Buzz Aldrin,” and the illustrator, “W. Minor.” In overall fine condition. Consignor notes that the Collins signature was obtained at a book signing at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum on July 19, 2009.
