DS, one page, 8.5 x 12.5, February 21, 1945. Assignment of copyright in which Kern signs over the rights for the music for four songs from the musical Oh Lady Lady to the T. B. Harms Company, including ‘Bill,’ ‘Moon Song,’ ‘It’s a Hard Hard World,’ and ‘Greenwich Village,’ all featuring lyrics by P. G. Wodehouse. Signed at the conclusion in fountain pen by Kern and countersigned by a witness. Stapled into its original blue folder; a US Copyright Office document with ribbon and seal is also stapled to the left edge. In fine condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
