Description

Eleanor Johnson Shuman

One of the last remaining survivors of the sinking of the Titanic (1910–1998). ALS signed “Eleanor,” one page, 6 x 9, May 30, 1997. Letter to Philip, in full: “Did you get a catalog from the Memphis Exhibition? Well a man from Memphis came to my house this morning and brought 100 of the catalogs for me to autograph. Then the mail came from you with 20 cards to autograph so you see this has been a busy day for me. I don’t mind it a bit. We are having a very cool Spring. Summers are very hot here so I can wait. Keep well.” In fine condition, with slight creasing to upper and lower portions. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
