Interesting composite tintype photo housed in an ornate 3.5 x 4 case, featuring one image of a Confederate soldier in uniform and a second image of his wife in a black mourning dress. The oval frame opening inside the case is approximately 2 x 2.5. In very good condition, with scattered surface cracks to photo finish and some of the decorative mother-of-pearl absent from case exterior.
