Eddie Collins

Hall of Fame second baseman, manager, and baseball executive (1887–1951). DS, signed “Edward Collins,” one page, 8.5 x 11, May 25, 1935. Agreement in which the Boston American League Baseball Company assigns the contract of Jack Wilson to the Jersey City Baseball Club for the sum of $500. Signed at the conclusion by Collins and countersigned by the president of the Jersey City club. In fine condition, with expected document wear. Wilson was a mainstay on the Red Sox pitching staff until 1941, appearing in over 250 games with a thousand innings pitched. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
