Mannix of MGM Studios, in part: “I would like to extend to you this formal appointment and a very cordial personal invitation to serve as a Producer member of the Annual Awards Committee, which as you know is made up from the three Guilds and the Academy in order to be fully representative of the industry…The responsibility of this Committee is to pass upon the rules for the conduct of all the balloting for all the Awards and to help in the annual effort by which each year the Awards have furthered ‘the best in motion pictures.’” In fine condition, with a pink ink notation to upper portion.
