As you know I was in England but never so thrilled as when my daughter called me 4:30 A. M. London time to tell me I had won. My friends who were there were petrified, since my category was the last. Feeling as you did, for your reasons stated in your letter about Carol Burnett and Katharine Hepburn but ‘We did it,’ as my friend said when my name was announced.” In fine condition, with slight creasing and toning to left and top edges.
