Description

John Sullivan

American general in the Revolutionary War and a delegate in the Continental Congress (1740–1795) who served as governor of New Hampshire and commanded the Sullivan Expedition in 1779. Partly-printed DS, one page, 7.5 x 12, September 12, 1765. Financial document in which Eliphalet Randell, Moses Yeaton, and John Sullivan agree to be “firmly bound and obliged unto Richard Wilbur Esq…in the full Sum of five hundred Pounds.” Signed at the conclusion by Sullivan, Randell, Yeaton, and two witnesses. Expected document wear, reinforced edges, and some scattered staining, otherwise fine condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
