Metal fragment of a Japanese Zero plane, 5 x 3, signed in black felt tip in English and Japanese, “Mitsuharu Nagase, Jan 1, 1945.” Mounted in a shadowbox beneath a photo of Nagase bearing pre-printed signatures to an overall size of 12 x 15. In fine condition. Nagase was supposed to fly a kamikaze mission at the end of August 1945 but was saved after the atomic bombs were dropped on Japan. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
