Pair of ALSs from the Titanic survivor, signed “Eleanor” and “Eleanor Shuman,” both one page, approximately 6.75 x 7.25, no date. Both letters are addressed to Mr. and Mrs. Croucher. The first, in part: “I haven’t received any information about the cruise. I suppose they are busy getting all details worked out.” The second, in part: “I am under a lot of pressure now. It’s been almost 15 years since my husband died and my son worries about me living alone and he wants me to sell my house and move close to him, out in the country. I don’t want to. I have lived in town 62 years and I feel like a city person. Elgin now has a population of 80,000.” In overall fine condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
