Karl Bohm

Austrian conductor (1894–1981) who became one of the favorite conductors of the Rudolf Bing era at New York’s Metropolitan Opera, leading notable house premieres of Wozzeck, Ariadne auf Naxos, and Die Frau ohne Schatten. Vintage matte-finish 3.5 x 5.25 postcard photo of Bohm by Fayer of Wien, signed and inscribed in the lower border in German in fountain pen, dated August 4, 1953. In fine condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
