Impressive set of five photo albums comprising an extensive assembly of NASA officials and personnel from the Apollo program, with the two red albums deriving from the NASA Headquarters in Washington, DC, and the three green albums from NASA’s Manned Spacecraft Center in Houston. The collection primarily consists of letters, signatures, and official NASA photos and lithographs, signed in various ink types by many of the behind-the-scenes employees of NASA, with many inscribed and several signing numerous times, including flight directors Gene Kranz, Gerald Griffin, Glynn Lunney, Clifford Charlesworth, Milton Windle, Pete Frank, and Donald Puddy. Other signers include: Christopher Kraft, the founder of mission control; Charles Berry, the chief of medical operations; James Bilodeau, the chief of crew procedures; Robert R. Gilruth, the first director of NASA's Manned Spacecraft Center; Sigurd A. Sjoberg, the director of flight operations; and Maxime A. Faget, the director of engineering and development. In overall fine condition, with some signatures a shade or two light, and some slight toning and creasing.
