Two photos: a vintage matte-finish 5.25 x 8.25 portrait of the younger Gish sister, blindstamped in the lower right corner by the photographer, and signed in black ink, “Sincerely yours, Dorothy Gish”; and a vintage glossy 8 x 9.75 portrait of the elder Gish, signed and inscribed in black ink, “For Walter…with every good wish—Lillian Gish.” Reverse of the Dorothy photo bears an S. Georges Ltd. photography stamp. The Dorothy photo is in fine condition, with slight silvering and wear to corners; and scattered surface impressions, dings to right edge, and creasing (one passing through the first three letters of the signature) to the Lillian photo, otherwise fine condition.
