DS, nine onionskin pages, 8.5 x 11, August 5, 1944. Agreement between Cooper and the Cinema Artists Corporation. In part: “Your service shall include that of an actor in such roles and such feature length photoplays as we may designate; provided, however, that you shall not be required to render your services as an actor in excess of four (4) photoplays…You agree to furnish all modern wardrobe and wearing apparel necessary for the portrayal of your roles in said photoplays; it being agreed, however, that should so-called ‘character’ or ‘period’ costumes be required, we shall supply the same.” Boldly signed at the conclusion in fountain pen by Cooper and countersigned by two studio executives. In fine condition, with expected document wear, a few small edge tears, small puncture to an executive’s signature, and show-though from a PSA/DNA label affixed to the reverse of the last page. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA.
