Edwina MacKenzie

Second-oldest survivor of the Titanic (1884–1984). ALS signed “Edwina C. MacKenzie,” one page, 5.5 x 7.75, March 19, 1979. Letter to Mr. Schuett, in full: “Sorry for being so late in answering your request. This unusual weather has got the best of me, and the heater failed. However things could be worse, but I hate to be cold. I am expecting relatives from Detroit.” In fine condition, with one vertical fold. Accompanied by an unsigned copy of an article entitled “Edwina MacKenzie Remembers” from The Chicago Daily Tribune on April 16, 1912. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
