Letter to Buddy Adler, in full: “My congratulations on winning the Academy’s Oscar for your production From Here to Eternity. It is a superlative accomplishment and a fine tribute to your producing talents.” In fine condition, with staple holes to upper left corner. Accompanied by an unsigned copy of Adler’s reply. An American film producer and former production head for 20th Century Fox studios, Adler won the Academy Award for Best Picture in 1953, and was again nominated for the accolade in 1955 for producing the William Holden vehicle Love Is a Many-Splendored Thing.
