Agreement between the Carpenters and A&M Records regarding rights and royalties, in part: “We shall have the right, but not the obligation, to use and license others to use the Master Recording recorded by you…entitled ‘Don’t Cry for Me Argentina’ along with other master recordings not recorded by you, on one (1) mid-priced compilation album.” On the first page, Karen Carpenter crossed out her own name and changed it to “you.” Signed at the conclusion in ballpoint by both Carpenters and countersigned by a studio executive. In fine condition, with expected document wear, light soiling to first page, and Richard Carpenter’s signature a shade light. Pre-certified REAL.
