Three items: a TLS signed “Jim,” one page, 7.25 x 10.5, Verney Farm letterhead, August 8, 1973, in part: “I spent yesterday on a tractor combining oats. I must say I enjoy doing it, and get a definite lift out of doing manual work. I guess I’m really a peasant at heart…Strange business, this politics…there is no doubt in my mind that the left is on Mr. Nixon’s tail and is going to stay there”; a TLS signed “Jim,” one page on a 5.5 x 3.5 card, in part: The newspapers and TV made a great deal of what was really very little”; and a glossy 8 x 10 photo of Cagney wielding two guns, signed in black felt tip. Poor ink adhesion to the signed photo, otherwise overall fine condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
