Daniel O’Connell

Irish political leader (1775–1847) best known for his tireless efforts on behalf of Catholic Emancipation and the repeal of the Act of Union which combined Ireland and Great Britain. ADS, one page, 8 x 13, October 12, 1888. Legal document, in part: “If…Ann Collins is able to prove that the money in question belonged absolutely and without any condition to her, she would be entitled to recover the money.” Mounted, double-matted, and framed with an engraved portrait to an overall size of 22 x 20.25. In very good condition, with intersecting folds (one vertical fold passing through a single letter of the signature) and moderate scattered soiling. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
