Edmund Dulac

British illustrator (1882–1953) known for his colorful work in deluxe editions of classics including fairy tales and stories of Hans Christian Andersen. ALS, one page, 4.75 x 6.5, Green Cottage letterhead, July 20, 1908. Letter to Daniel O’Connor in London. In full: “Thank you very much for your card and your very kind offer. I cannot definitely say when I will be free to take new work, but I will be in London in November and will call on you and we may talk things over. I cannot possibly get away before then every minute of my time is taken by work.” Scattered creases and mild soiling, otherwise fine condition. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope addressed in his own hand (heavily worn with front and back panels detached). Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
