Bourke-White Studio business check, 8.5 x 3, filled out in type and signed by Bourke-White, payable to Ethel P. Fratkin for $34, stamp-dated April 17, 1935. In fine condition, with two light vertical folds (one passing through a single letter of the signature), and expected bank stamps and cancellation holes (affecting a portion of the signature). Accompanied by an 8 x 10 color photo of the November 23, 1936, cover of LIFE magazine—the first issue—featuring Bourke-White’s photograph of Fort Peck Dam’s spillway. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
