Two items: a copy of UCLA’s Fabulous Bruins: The Story of a Basketball Dynasty, hardcover with dust jacket, signed and inscribed on a free end page in blue ballpoint, “Thank you, Joe Collins, for your interest in UCLA basketball and this coach—John Wooden”; and an off-white motivational flyer, 11 x 8.5, showing “The Pyramid of Success,” signed and inscribed in blue ballpoint, “For—Joe Collins, with best wishes, John Wooden,” who has signed his name again below a printed quote on the right side. Wooden has also added “Ret.” to his name and job title. In overall fine condition, with two vertical folds to the flyer, and trivial creasing and wear to the dust jacket. Accompanied by a hardcover first edition, first printing of The Wizard of Westwood, signed and inscribed on the half-title page in ballpoint by Dwight and Phyllis Chapin. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
