Handsome leather non-issue infantry waist belt set, consisting of the dark leather 2″ wide belt, an M1839 ‘puppy paw’ style US brass belt plate, cap box with impressed inspection stamp on the flap and original wool lining, brass-tipped leather scabbard, and US-stamped .58 caliber angular bayonet. In very good condition, with some cracking and flaking to leather, and a tear through half of the scabbard loop (the remainder still firmly attached).
