Accompanied by a letter of provenance from the recipient, stating that her father, a flight surgeon with the China National Aviation Corporation (CNAC) during WWII, obtained the autograph at a Flying Tigers/CNAC reunion in 1975 during which Armstrong received an award; she was attempting to quit smoking at the time, and with this inscription Armstrong offered some encouragement.
