Influential economist (1899–1992) known for his defense of classical liberalism, who shared the Nobel Prize in Economics with Gunnar Myrdal for ‘pioneering work in the theory of money and economic fluctuations.’ Uncommon handwritten manuscript, unsigned, one page, 8.25 x 11.75, no date. Two paragraphs of a draft for an article or essay. In part: “The coordination of the efforts of the members of the great society requires more than that. The ordering processes which bring this about must therefore be unintended.” In fine condition, with central vertical and horizontal folds and scattered creases. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
