Louis Jordan

Pioneering jazz and jump blues musician (1908–1975) known as ‘The King of the Jukebox.’ Vintage glossy 7.75 x 10 General Amusement Corp. publicity photo of Jourdan in a suit and tie, signed and inscribed in blue ink, “To ‘Claddis,’ Hope we knocked you out. How bout that? Louis Jordan, 6/21/44.” In fine condition, with trivial creasing to corners and some slight brushing and irregular ink adhesion to portions of the inscription and signature. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
