Forged pay order to Treasurer Rittenhouse. In part: “Pay to the Honourable Silas Deane, Esquire. One hundred pounds and Ten shillings—The same being due him for services and attendance as a member of the Council.” Float-mounted and framed to an overall size of 14 x 11. In fine condition, with paper loss to edges. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
