Letter to Mrs. King, in part: “The depth and extent of American friendship has been very really expressed through the many letters I have received, and this friendship I take back to my own country with me to share with my countrymen. When I return I hope to bring back with me similar expressions from Chinese to Americans. The meaning and purpose of The East and West Association will be well carried out in this mutual interchange between our two peoples.” In fine condition, with a few spots of soiling to bottom, slight creasing, and show-through from collector’s ink notations to reverse.
