TLS, one page, 5.75 x 6.75, personal letterhead, June 9, 1955. Letter to Mr. Stathos, in full: “I am sorry you have had difficulty in getting a position and I wish I could help you. Unfortunately, I have no influence now that I am no longer on the U.S. Delegation to the UN. I will send your letter to the Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Association in the hope that they may have some suggestions. I am sorry I have no autographs of my husband to send you. All his papers are now the property of the US Government.” Matted to an overall size of 8.75 x 9.75. In fine condition, with light scattered spots of toning to lower right portion. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
