Description

Uncommon photo of the first moonwalker

Unusual matte-finish 8 x 10 candid photo of Armstrong signing an autograph between two gentlemen, signed in the lower border in black ink, “Neil Armstrong, Apollo 11.” Also signed in the lower border in pencil by the photographer, “Kehr 1971.” Reverse bears a Ernest A. Kehr photography stamp. In fine condition, with light scattered toning to left side, a spot of toning to Armstrong’s right shoulder, and a trivial crease to lower right corner tip. An interesting, uninscribed photo of Armstrong made all the more desirable by the addition of his landmark mission. Pre-certified Zarelli Space Authentication.
