Letter to the pianist Edwin Fische, in full (translated): “1000 thanks for your gracious congratulations for my birthday, which have me very happy. 1000 thanks for the wonderful concert I will never forget. I'm really looking forward to [it].” In fine condition. In addition to being a talented pianist, King Frederik also proved himself an accomplished conductor, having several times led the Royal Danish Orchestra.
