Manuscript DS, signed “Geo. Pitkin,” one page, 7.25 x 4.75, February 26, 1763. Document issued to pay for the prosecution of a man accused of fraud. In part: “Pay out of the Publick Treasury to Elisha Hall Kings Attornie for cost allowed in the prosecution of Titus Curtiss for drawing monies out of the public Treasury on Feigned Pretences.” Expected document wear, light mirrored ink from a page no longer present, and a cancellation notation through the signature, otherwise fine condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
