Eliphalet Dyer

Prominent Connecticut statesman (1721–1807) who served in the French and Indian War and was a delegate to the Continental Congress. Partly-printed DS, one page, 7.5 x 3.5, March 1, 1791. Financial document, in part: “Received of Ralph Pomeroy, Comptroller of the Public Accounts, Twenty pounds eighteen shillings & seven pence Lawful Money in 16 Certificates; being for the Interest on 4 State Notes.” Crisply signed at the conclusion by Dyer. In fine condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
