Letter to Frederick Burbank, in part: “I do not like to suggest or ask this, but, as I have stated before, while our students bear their expenses of board in cash and in labor, and also provide for their own books, clothing and travel, they are wholly unable to pay the cost of teaching. We shall be very grateful for any amount that you may be kind enough to send us.” In fine condition, with intersecting folds (passing through a single letter of the signature) and trivial creasing.
