Early ALS signed “Your son, the featured player,” two pages, 6 x 9.25, Edgewater Beach Hotel letterhead, no date but postmarked April 9. Letter to his mother, Mabelle Webb. In part: “Am on my way to have photos taken…The strained feeling last night between J. D. & M. was funny…Keep well & have a good time—we boys have named ourselves The Edgewater Trio—Humphrey & Kenneth are too nice for words.” Some dampstaining and soiling affecting a couple words on the first page, otherwise fine condition. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope addressed in his own hand, incorporating his full name, “Clifton Webb,” in the return address on the flap. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
